“When my kids were little, they watched so many of these movies that they started to think I would die soon,” Jenna explained. This led to a heartwarming yet unsettling moment when her eldest daughter, Mila, approached an NBC colleague with a request. “Mila came to work and asked Donna, one of our adorable colleagues, ‘When my mom dies, will you be my stepmother?’ It’s a bit dark, isn’t it?” Jenna shared.

“I would have loved to have had one more child, but three is a good number for us,” she said. “It’s an imperfect number, but it works for our family.”
